As the name says, this region is "over the mountain" - tucked into the Glen Vauloch mountains on the outskirts of Hermanus lies the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. The cool maritime climate & the distinct soil type suit Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay vines.
